Yumihajime

1. Overview

Yumihajime (the “App”), provided by 生田武詩 (the “Operator”), respects your privacy and handles information only as needed to provide the App’s features. This policy explains how the App collects, uses, stores, and shares information with external services.

2. Information the App handles

Practice records

The App stores practice start and end times, sets of shots, each shot’s hit or miss result, and notes you enter on your device to display your history and statistics.

Quiz learning history

The App stores the number of times you answered each question, the number of correct answers, your most recent result, and answer times on your device to show learning progress and questions to review.

Backups

If you export a backup, the App writes practice records and learning history to a JSON file in a location you choose. You are responsible for storing, sharing, and managing that file. The App can read a backup file you select and restore its contents to your device.

3. Storage and purposes of use

Practice records and learning history are stored on your device using SwiftData. They are used to create and edit records, show history and statistics, run quizzes, support review, and provide backup features. The App does not create a user account or send these records to the Operator’s own external server.

4. Advertising and consent

The App uses Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK) to display ads and the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) SDK to manage advertising consent. Where consent or privacy choices are required, UMP displays a privacy message. When the SDK determines that privacy options are required, you can change your choice through “Ad Privacy Settings” in the App’s Settings screen.

Ads and data processing may vary by region, device settings, and your consent choices. Personalized ads may be shown when permitted by those conditions. The App does not request permission through App Tracking Transparency (ATT), so the iOS advertising identifier (IDFA) is not sent in ad requests. UMP consent and ATT permission are separate. The App does not explicitly pass your practice records, hits or misses, notes, quiz answers, or learning history to Google as ad-targeting information.

5. Information Google may process

The Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect or process the following information for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, analytics, and service improvement. Actual processing depends on your region, device settings, consent choices, and Google’s ad-serving mode.

• Approximate location inferred from your IP address
• Identifiers related to your device, the App, or advertising
• Ad data, such as ads displayed
• Usage data, such as app launches, ad impressions, and ad interactions
• Diagnostic data, such as crash and performance information

Device identifiers and tracking

The Google Mobile Ads SDK privacy manifest declares device identifiers as data used for tracking. Tracking may include linking user or device data with information from other companies’ apps or websites for ad delivery or measurement. Although the App does not request access to IDFA, Google’s SDK may process other app- or device-related identifiers. Actual processing depends on device settings, consent choices, and ad-serving mode.

6. External links

The App may link to external websites, including references and sources for quiz content. Please review each website’s privacy policy for information about its data practices.

7. Deleting information

You can delete saved practice records from the App’s History screen. Deleting the App from your device also deletes data stored locally by the App. You must separately delete any backup files you exported to other locations. Information processed by Google is subject to Google’s privacy controls and policies.

8. Security

The App limits the information it handles to what is needed for its features. However, complete security cannot be guaranteed in every situation, including device loss, sharing of backup files, or unauthorized use by others. Please take care of your device and backup files.

9. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the App’s features, external services, or applicable laws change. Important changes will be announced in the App or on this page.
